Co-founder and Director of BATTLESHEEP, a Portuguese videogame development studio founded in 2008, focused on web and mobile games. He has acted as Producer, Game Designer, and Programmer in both independent and work-for-hire projects (for domestic and international clients).
Through his professional career, he has been a guest speaker at various events related to the videogame industry.
In education, he is a Professor in the videogame courses at IADE – Universidade Europeia and at Universidade Lusófona, and was co-author of a game programming book for children.
In the past, he was Production Manager at GameInvest and started his professional career as a game programmer at YDreams.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia of Universidade Nova de Lisboa and is currently a PhD student in Computer Science at Instituto Superior Técnico, focusing on the application of Artificial Intelligence in the procedural generation of game goals.
