As part of the Portugal - France 2022 season, organized by the French Institute, Camões Institute and GEPAC (Cabinet of Strategic Planning and Cultural Valuation), IADE was invited to participate in the Poster competition on the Paris-Lisbon friendship on the Portuguese side, with EPSAA (Superior Business School of Graphic Art-Ville de Paris) as a partner on the French side.

24 posters were selected from all competing posters created by students from both schools (12 per school) by a jury composed of representatives from the Ville de Paris and the Lisbon City Council, the Portugal-France Season 2022 coordination team and representatives from both schools.

These posters will be displayed in public places in both cities, and in Lisbon the exhibition will be on display between September 5th and 30th in Jardim de Santos.

Entourage | Project – Cross Masters

  • Master's Degree in Design Management
  • Master's Degree in Design and Visual Culture
  • Master's Degree in Product and Interior Design

“The COVID-19 pandemic has paralysed the world and significantly affected virtually every industry, including the entertainment industry. This totally unexpected situation resulted in substantial losses in the world economy and forced various services to readapt. The new times contribute to the growth of new forms of consumption and force the entertainment industry to look for alternatives in order to meet the needs of customers in this totally different context.”

Faced with this scenario, IADE and Entourage have teamed up to develop a new electronic music festival format, taking into account the current pandemic scenario. This format emerged from the collaboration between different curricular units and master's courses; with the goal of shaping the future of the entertainment industry.

The development of the project had the consecutive participation of three master's programmes: Master’s degree in Design Management, Master’s degree in Design and Visual Culture and Master's degree in Product and Space Design. The intention was to create a collaborative and transdisciplinary environment, in which students and professors worked in a practical way and applied the knowledge from their subject areas and gave continuity to processes arising from other subject areas.

With this, the project had the intention that each master's area passed previous information to the next area, culminating in an innovative project to be presented as a marketing proposal to the client (Entourage) and scientific proposal to the community.
