Miguel Boavida

He has a degree in Computer Engineering and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Science and Technology of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and has been a lecturer at IADE since 2016. In 2008, he was one of the founders of SportTools - Technology for Sport, a technology company that developed training support systems for various sports. His professional and academic activity led him to specialize in creating information systems for sport and health, particularly in the areas of neuropsychological rehabilitation and elite sport. Developing solutions for major sporting events sparked a passion for communication and how technology can revolutionize it.

At IADE, she is mainly involved in the Creative Tech degree as a coordinator, but also teaches on the Game Development and Global Design courses.

In his spare time, he devotes himself to music and the use of new technologies and new forms of interaction in art events.
