Alexandra Fidalgo

Assistant Professor at Universidade Europeia, where she has been teaching since 2011, and a collaborating researcher at UNIDCOM/IADE. She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and conducted postdoctoral research at the Centre for Molecular Physical Chemistry of Instituto Superior Técnico and at Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico. Her multidisciplinary research spans green chemistry and the design of sustainable processes to promote the bioeconomy, as well as the development and application of quantitative methods in education and the social, behavioural, and health sciences. She is the co-inventor of five patents and the author of more than 60 articles published in international peer-reviewed journals, as well as two book chapters.
