Pamela Teubig is a university professor and researcher focused on innovation. She earned her PhD from the University of Western Scotland in the field of molecular biology. After working in the area for a few years, she began combining biology with nuclear physics. The focus shifted to R&D, execution and analysis of experimental data with the aim of developing advanced algorithms for radiation detection. She is the lead researcher of the thin film design laboratory at LIP, a laboratory in which she is an integrated researcher. In total, she has participated in numerous nuclear physics experiments with ion beams at both national and international levels (FAIR, CERN, etc.), and is the author of more than 20 peer-reviewed scientific articles. With this background of multidisciplinary experience in science and computing, Pamela joined IADE in 2021 to contribute to the teaching of mathematics, physics, and data science to undergraduate students in Game Development and Creative Technology, areas in which she continues to contribute by teaching these and other subjects, reinforcing the multidisciplinary vision with which IADE contributes to society. She is currently the scientific coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Management Informatics.
